I had these boots for a year and half working on barges. The only things I've had to replace were the laces (fraying at the ends) and the pad on the inside. For me, they are the closest thing I can get to a perfect boot. They are an extremely comfortable fit and have lasted me a very long time. I never got any blisters on my feet from these boots. They feel much lighter on your feet than they do when you're holding them. I swear they almost feel like sneakers when walking. They are not extremely waterproof, but they do well enough. I wouldn't step in water over an inch and half deep because water will slip in about where the laces start.I have never trusted a boots grip more than this boot! They sthave plenty of tread, but the sole is coming off ever so slightly. I have to walk all day up and down barges, some times climbing and stepping down on sketchy places, but these boots are a huge confidence booster and have earned my trust. They still have plenty of tread, but the sole is coming off ever so slightly. Very very impressive grip!I have easily walked 500+ miles across 100s of barges, a lot of gravel, dirt, rocks, many puddles, oil, and paint in the past year and a half with these boots. The only reason I'm not wearing them to work any more is because the steel toe is showing and the sole is just starting to come undone.Such and awesome boot, I'm actually buying these with my own money and not with a company voucher. Best boot I've owned and hopefully the second pair is reflective of the first.I am buying these on Amazon only because I bought my first pair at a store and I know what size fits me correctly. These boots are sold for up to a double wide foot (I believe), so if someone says they are too narrow, they clearly got the wrong size.If this next pair is just as good as my old pair, I'll probably buy 5+ or so pairs to have just in case Wolverine stops making them.
