Like most classic bands Canned Heat has gone thru' many incarnations but most would agree 1966 to 1970 were the great years with Blind Owl and also Harvey "the Snake" Mandel (not to lessen Henry "the Sunflower" Vestine's input).It's hard to say anything new about this greatly under-rated band.They could create a real soulful blues atmosphere and also boogie with the best.My favorite band so I am biased and yet this album covers a lot of their best material.
