I had these boots for a year. I work outside 12 hours a day rain, snow and mud. Walking constantly. This is the only boot that has held up. Trust me, iv tried all name brands. It did take a while to break them in but they have never made blisters, they are cushioned enough your feet don't hurt, soft sole sort of, not the hard sole. They come up above your ankle so that's support. The leather has held up really well. I'm sure il get a few more years outta these. I highly recommend these work boots
