Great comfortable boot just after putting them on. The arch support is nice and there's a good amount of snug around my foot. Seems well made and has soft leather. The only downside i noticed was that I'm initially a size 8 in work boots so i bought a size 8 and they were huge. So i tried a size 7.5 and they were still big so i ordered a size 7 and they fit perfect. So my advice when purchasing these boots would be to order a half to full size smaller. If your current size fits you normal then order a full size down. If your current size fits you snug then order a half size down. My wolverine work boots fit me normal but not snug and i had to go a full size down. Other then that they're great. Can't wait to break them in. Oh and the same goes for the intrepid h2o 8 inch lace up version.I love the look of these boots, and the composite toe. They feel mostly comfortable right away, but like other reviewers, i had issues with the heeel guard digging into my heel. I am still tryong tp breakthem in for comfort, before working all day on concrete with them. Even after about 40 hours of wear they arent there for me. My cheap herman survivors with steel toe are way more comfy. Not sure how these will lastVery comfortable boots. I have a heavy step, and these boots really save my legs and knees on the uneven ground on the job site. I’m not pounding my body.Nice heal “pop” when I put them on. I do have to use my boot pull on tabs. My left boot was just a tad snug, but loosened up after a few hours.Flexible, thick leather.The composite toe saved my foot yesterday when a board smacked down on my boot. They just paid for themselves.I bought a second pair for being out and about and church.Awesome for foot protection. Order a half size smaller than expected. Keep all water out and are very warm with wool socks.Exceptional quality. Outstanding looks--well worth the purchase price.
